Temporary Home

Earlier in August we found out that we had to leave our apartment in Provo by August 22nd. We also found out that our new apartment in Rexburg wouldn't be done until Sept. 10th for move in. This created a pretty serious dilemma. JT also didn't finish his internship until Sept. 6th so we needed to stay in Utah anyways.

We ended up with a great solution, staying with my Uncle Mike and his family in their house in Orem. After living 2.5 months in our small place in Provo, sleeping on an air mattress with a tiny kitchen, it feels good to be in a big house. Luckily, they have a guest bedroom with a California King-sized bed. It's heaven sleeping on that bed after months on an air mattress.

It was fun to spend 2 weeks at their place, hanging out with my little cousins, going to seven peaks and Thanksgiving point, playing games late at night, and other fun adventures. Here are a few pictures from our time with the Walker's, sorry most of them are poor quality from my cell phone.

Thanksgiving Point Gardens on Labor Day for the Luau:

There were guys performing with fire, super awesome. It was hard to get a clear picture, sorry!

Having Fun Babysitting:

Our last day in Utah, going to the Belgian waffle place in Salt Lake

And now that our summer in Utah is officially over, we excited to be back in Rexburg and to move in to our brand new apartment tomorrow!
