Oh my goodness, I love this little boy of mine so much! He has the sweetest smiles. And last week he let out a little giggle when I was playing with him. Just once, but hopefully we see more of them soon!
Jonas has gotten so big! He is almost double his birth weight, 2 weeks away from his 4 months mark. So we decided it was time to take some good, quality pictures of him again. Since 99% of our pictures are taken on our cell phones. It was also a great opportunity for JT, since starting his career full-time and having a baby he hasn't had time to take pictures lately. So everyone won.
This past weekend was General Conference for LDS church. It was a great opportunity to hear from the leaders of our church, to get guidance and a renewal of goals on how to better ourselves. Although watching conference with a baby can be difficult, we had fun hanging out as a family watching conference. Once it was over on Sunday afternoon we headed to Nature Park here in Rexburg. The leaves on the trees are all beautiful this time of year, and it's probably my favorite place in Rexburg because of all the trees and the small lake.
We had a lot of fun walking around taking pictures, with Jonas and I matching. When I bought the outfit for him a couple months ago I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Then I realized I have similar clothes. So I decided I would be one of "those" moms that matches her kids and takes pictures. People stared at the park, oh well.
It was a little difficult to take pictures, since Jonas is a baby. He does smile at us but for every 10 pictures JT took, about 9 of them he wasn't looking or paying attention. He was far to amused with looking around. Despite his curiosity, we got a lot of great shots!
Look at those trees! I love the colors of Autumn.
He is obsessed with putting everything in his mouth and drooling. So of course here he is putting my fingers in his mouth.
We both threw him up in the air a few times, he was a little unsure of it.
Love this one. I actually took it, obviously since JT is in the picture.
I also loved taking pictures because it hasn't been until recently that I have felt more myself. I'm pretty self-conscious of my body after having a baby. But after some hard work I'm only 6 pounds above my starting weight. Which is pretty great! I still need to tighten up my belly, but my confidence is better and I'm happier with myself.
