Madeline Eve: Month Two

We can't believe our sweet Madeline has already been with us for two months. This last month has had its fair share of ups and downs since dad has gone back to work, but I think I am starting to get a handle on being a SAHM with two kids in diapers.

This last month we saw Madeline grow a lot, she is now 11 lbs and 5 oz, at 24 inches, I have started noticing her thigh rolls coming in! She started giving us sweet smiles at 5 weeks, and I swear I have heard her giggle a few times (once when I was getting ready to breast feed her, haha). As a newborn she struggled with getting an upset stomach and spitting up a lot, but around 6 weeks it stopped and she has been doing much better. She spits up a normal amount maybe once a day, I feel so relieved and less stressed about breastfeeding now that she has been doing better. This has also helped with her fussiness, I was worried she was developing colic, but she is so much happier lately, such a blessing! Madeline has also started drooling and blowing bubbles, and following us with her eyes. We are looking forward to all she will learn this next month!

First Holiday, Halloween!

Working on our selfie skills. This is from our first days without dad since he finished his month of paternity leave. It's hard being a SAHM with a toddler and newborn, and little sleep, but we are figuring it out!

She wasn't so excited to have brother feed her, haha!

Stare down, she won

I bought this blanket and those PJs 6 months before I even got pregnant with her, when we were first thinking about having another baby and I was hopeful for a girl.

Milk drunk

I set her down on brother's bed while I was changing his diaper and getting ready for nap time, lucky for me she found it comfy and started falling asleep!

Madeline got to meet her five cousins, Lacie's kids, when they visited Idaho for their Aunt's wedding. Sweet Cambrie loved holding Madeline!

She has enjoyed bath time a lot more ever since I bought the Puj bath, don't be fooled by this picture!

Blessing day!

Working on her head strength

Jonas just LOVES taking pictures with Madeline. My heart melts every time he does something sweet with Madeline.
